IFS Softeon, the warehouse management system (WMS) provider delivering visibility from the boardroom to the warehouse floor, has announced that CoolDrive Auto Parts, one of Australia’s leading automotive aftermarket distributors, has selected Softeon as its new warehouse management system provider to support a major supply chain modernisation initiative at its new automated distribution facility.

As part of the transformation, CoolDrive is deploying Softeon Warehouse Management System, implemented alongside ThreeSixty Supply Chain Group, and fully integrated with a new AutoStore automated storage and retrieval system installed by Dematic. Together, the solution will enable faster fulfilment, greater inventory accuracy, and a scalable foundation to support CoolDrive’s continued growth.

The new distribution center is designed to significantly enhance CoolDrive’s operational efficiency and service levels, leveraging goods-to-person automation to optimise order picking while reducing manual handling and floor space requirements. Softeon Warehouse Management System will serve as the intelligent execution layer, orchestrating inventory, labour, and automation in real time.

“We are pleased to be working with Softeon to bring this project to life for CoolDrive,” said Tim Blanchard, Chief Operating Officer, CoolDrive.

“This is a foundational investment in the future of our supply chain. The new WMS and automation platform will help us deliver faster, smarter and more reliably for our customers as we continue to grow. Their warehouse management system will integrate seamlessly into our Autostore hardware and provide us with a solution to benefit our business for many years to come.”

Tim Blanchard, Chief Operating Officer, CoolDrive

Softeon Warehouse Management System is purpose-built to support highly automated environments, providing deep, native integration with systems like AutoStore while maintaining the agility required for complex, high-volume spare parts operations. The solution enables CoolDrive to dynamically manage inventory flows, prioritise orders, and adapt quickly to changing demand patterns.

ThreeSixty Supply Chain Group is leading the WMS implementation, bringing deep expertise in automated warehouse design, deployment, and optimisation.

“We are excited to embark on this transformation journey with CoolDrive and Softeon as we deliver a state-of-the-art automated facility underpinned by a Tier-1 WMS,” said Derek Tan, Executive Director, ThreeSixty Supply Chain Group.

“By selecting the right WMS and integrating it seamlessly with AutoStore, CoolDrive will have a scalable and future-ready platform to support their continued growth.”
