For the first time, an NFL regular-season game is coming to Australia.

On 11 September 2026, the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will bring one of the NFL’s biggest rivalries to the Melbourne Cricket Ground for a matchup in front of fans from across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

The game is another sign of the global momentum building across Australia, and IFS Softeon is excited to be part of it.

Growing Alongside the Australian Market

Australia has quickly become an important growth market for IFS Softeon.

Over the past year, our Australian team has quadrupled as we have responded to increased interest from organisations looking to modernise their warehouse and fulfilment operations.

What began as a focused regional presence is developing into a broader team capable of supporting customers, partners and new opportunities throughout Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

IFS Softeon is helping organisations respond with warehouse management and execution technology designed to support complex operations without limiting their ability to adapt. As part of IFS, we are also bringing together proven warehouse execution capabilities, Industrial AI and global scale to deliver greater visibility from the boardroom to the warehouse floor.

The expansion of our Australian team allows us to bring that vision closer to the organisations we serve, with more regional expertise, stronger local relationships and greater capacity to support continued growth.

Bringing Our Community Together on Game Day

To celebrate both the NFL’s arrival in Australia and IFS Softeon’s growing regional momentum, we are hosting customers, partners and members of the local supply chain community for an exclusive game-day experience in Melbourne.

The day will begin with a pre-game tailgate from 8:00 to 9:30 AM at Frederic Bar & Bistro in Cremorne. Guests will be able to connect over breakfast, barista coffee and a few game-day refreshments before making the short walk to the MCG.

Kickoff between the Rams and 49ers is scheduled for 10:35 AM, marking the beginning of the NFL’s first regular-season game played in Australia.

Following the final whistle, the group will return to Frederic for post-game celebrations from 2:30 to 5:00 PM, featuring canapés, post-match snacks and additional opportunities to connect with the IFS Softeon team and other industry leaders.

More Than a Game

The occasion is about more than football.

It is an opportunity to bring together the people helping shape the future of warehouse and supply chain operations across Australia. Some of the most valuable industry conversations happen outside of formal meetings, and this event gives our community an opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas and celebrate the momentum building throughout the region.

The NFL’s Australian debut also offers a fitting parallel for IFS Softeon. Both represent established organisations expanding their global reach, entering new markets and building meaningful connections with new audiences.

As IFS Softeon continues growing in Australia, our focus remains on being closer to our customers and partners while helping organisations create more connected, intelligent and adaptable warehouse operations.

We are proud of the progress our Australian team has made over the past year, and we are only getting started.
