RF Devices

The Softeon RF module is vendor neutral; it requires a Windows CE operating system and a browser. Softeon WMS is also device-agnostic, in the sense that the same task can either be handled by voice or by RF. Dynamic re-assignment of tasks can be done between operators even if they use Voice or RF (they're interchangeable), unlike other competing products, where voice based picking is implemented as a separate process by downloading tasks into a voice server. Softeon's Task Manager manages the voice device directly, which means that any changes in the launched wave, any task re-assignment, inter-leaving, etc., can be dynamically accomplished regardless of the type of device used (Voice or RF).
