Softeon's solution is web-native and the system architecture complies with n-tiered architecture principles and MVC (Model View Controller) design pattern. It is 100% web based meaning the only footprint of the system is on the servers and not on any client computers and the system is computer platform and database independent. Advanced, web-native technology complies with Java (J2EE) framework standards (Java/J2EE) with a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) that reduces implementation time and cost and maximizes flexibility is the underlying technology strategy. The user interface includes J2EE components such as JSP, applets and AJAX components embedded in DHTML. The middle tier components will include servlets and Java beans.

Web-native is a ground-up design approach that assumes the Internet is the only Network paradigm in use for the system. Design does require a total commitment to using standard technologies such as Java, HTML, XML, and browsers. This is the approach adapted by most emerging technologies Data Security, GRID computing, Object Oriented Data bases, Business Rule engines, Connectors and adapters for RFID, Voice devices. Web-native software can interoperate seamlessly with products from all major software companies like IBM, SUN, BEA, SAP, and Oracle.
