Integration

Application integration has been systematically faced with three challenges: (1) disparity of data models, (2) disparity of software and middleware technology, and (3) constant changes and evolution of both data models and software and middleware technology. Today, we face a situation where environments typically cover a wide range of hardware and software technology - from machines designed several decades ago, along with their relative operating systems (e.g., MVS, OS400), to highly specialized software technology such as data management (e.g., data-warehouses, relational databases) or transaction management (e.g., ERP). In short, a wide variety of software technology and data models will always be found in any IT landscapes.

Softeon offers integration architecture for all Softeon products by leveraging ubiquitous middleware technology (J2EE, XML/HTTP, etc.). These services allow for integration to any EAI that might already be in place.
