Softeon Named as a Top Supplier for Sears Holdings Corporation

Company Recognizes Top Suppliers as "Partners In Progress"

Softeon has been named a 2008 Partner in Progress Award Recipient for Sears Holdings Corporation. Softeon received the award for implementing the Field Logistics Management System (FLMS) a web based, rules and data driven system for SHC's Carry-In Repair Division. The system has eliminated much manual paperwork, assures product is repaired on a FIFO basis; accurately tracks all work accomplished and parts used and creates customer-billing information.

The prestigious Partners in Progress award is presented annually to a select group of supplier companies that provide Sears Holdings with quality products and services, from apparel, appliances and tools to marketing, facilities design and technology. Less than one percent of Sears Holdings' over 30,000 suppliers earn the coveted award each year.

Interim CEO and President Bruce Johnson congratulated the winners stating, "Sears Holdings relies on its supplier community, as well as the quality of the merchandise and services they provide, to help us create lasting relationships with our customers and empower them to manage their lives. This program was started more than 25 years ago and is a testament to the importance of collaborating with our supplier partners to better serve our customers and increase productivity."

The Partners in Progress program recognizes suppliers for product or service quality, innovation, diversity and overall market performance. The winners were selected from nominations submitted by Sears' associates who purchase goods and services for the company in 2008.
